A wonderful hotel if you are happy to be away from the busy center

Beautiful modern hotel. Stunning views of river, sea from large window in room. Sake bar Great bathroom

A little far from restaurants and night life. Not many eating options close by. (Apart from the markets, about 10 mins walk. They are great) Bed very small for 2 people.

Luxurious accommodation with a great view at a good price.

Pros: Great view. Excellent breakfast. Early checkin (2:00 pm) and late checkout (11:00 am). Very spacious room, with comfortable lounge chair. A top sheet on the bed, and a huge bathtub. Cons: A long way from the train station (about a 25 min. walk), which is not good if it’s raining. The air in the room is very dry and you can’t open the window, so a humidifier would be helpful.

It was good!

Staff was very friendly and could speak some English. Views from the room were fantastic!

There was no free parking on site. Limited lifts, but otherwise all good.

Overall comfy stay

Staffs were very kind, room was quite clean, and the view from the room was amazing. Breakfast was okay.

Bed was a bit too hard and it woke me up due to the backache. The ventilation in the bathroom was not proper as I could see some molds. Alarm clock was set on at 7 am which I didn't ask.

Beautiful hotel with a good view of Niigata. Good breakfast. Restaurant with nice ambience.

Top rated hotel with a nice water view. Enjoyable top floor to hang around with good city view. Not far from Bandai market with all kinds of food to buy & eat. Felt a bit restrictive during check in.

A business hotel but worth it for the view

The staff were so lovely and helpful. We arrived on motorbikes and everyone was trying to assist with luggage,and then after check in with parking. We booked this hotel for the view from the room and also for the fact we could walk to local restaurants. It is a business hotel but was a lovely walk along the river, and the room view really was fabulous. The room was clean and comfortable, although small, and the breakfast was good.

I was surprised there was a parking charge.

Lovely hotel. English is not the best but that is my fault for not knowing more Japanese.

Tallest building in town with great views.

The air conditioning on each floor is set, it was 25c on my floor, the aircon button/unit was a ruse. They provided a fan for me, and after taking off all the blankets to just a sheet, I was able to sleep.

An extremely pleasant and comfortable stay. Would highly recommend. A very delighted guest.

Best location if taking ferry to Sado Island. Spacious room and bathroom is spacious too with shelves and baskets. Bathroom has a box of facial tissue, a dustbin and shower cap is also provided (lacking in most hotels).

Convenient and while visiting around the city it was easy to keep orientation since it’s quite possibly the tallest building in the city.

Wonderful

The view was absolutely beautiful and the staff very helpful.

The room had a very faint smell of cigarette smoke. Not in the curtains or bed, but in the furniture and window frames. I assume it was converted to a non-smoking room some time ago and the smell has still not fully faded. Nothing major though, it didn't bother me (and I am very sensitive to the smell).

Exceptional

Staff were very accommodating and prompt. The service was exceptional. The staff was very helpful. The hotel seems old but it is very clean and well maintained. The view from the room is really good. They have a viewing deck, which shows 360° view of the city. Water pressure in the shower was good even on the 25th floor.

The internet connection wasn't good.
